Environmental Manager

Our client are a multi-national civil and infrastructure group looking for a Environmental Manager based in London, Euston HS2 Project.

Role:

The successful candidate will be accountable for implementing and ensuring environmental awareness across the supply chain.

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Assist in producing, maintaining and ensuring compliance of the Environmental Management Plans
• Identify possible operational risks or opportunities and work with central HSQE team
• Site supervision to monitor and record environmental performance and compliance undertaking regular site inspections and audits of construction sites
• Monitor and report environmental performance and KPIs
• Carry out or contribute to incidents and complaints investigations

Essential Requirements:

• Educated to degree or equivalent in a numerate discipline
• Professional membership of an appropriate environmental body
• Strong working knowledge of developing, implementing and improving Environmental Management Systems
• Knowledge of relevant UK Environment legislation and current best practise guidance

Desirable:

• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel
