Our client is providing lead edge expertise in Integrated Urban Drainage modelling and to strengthen their expertise and to lead a small team they are looking for an experienced Hydrologist.
This is a permanent senior management position for an experienced Hydrologist who is able to take on an important role in taking the company forward. Progression for the successful candidate will depend on turnover and profit targets being met but the intention is that there will be progression to Associate Director within 2 years and Board Director within 4 years.
The successful candidate will need to show exceptional eagerness and ability to be involved in and at the leading edge of urban flood risk assessments and hydraulic modelling. Experience of hydraulic modelling will be an advantage but is not essential.
The successful candidate will be at or near Chartered status and will have a minimum of 10 years UK experience in fluvial hydrology. It is expected that the successful candidate will in time become a recognised industry expert is this field.
The job holder will report to the Managing Director and will be responsible for developing and managing a team of Hydraulic Modellers, Hydrologists and other technical staff in order to provide an exemplary service to established and new Clients.
Business Development will form an important part of the job holder’s role and the company’s Marketing Manager will be able to assist in that respect. Historically, our client has gained a reputation for an exceptional standard of work which has stood them out from the crowd and it is essential that this is maintained and built upon. Our client has also been recognised as being at the forefront of technical aspects of urban flooding and again it is essential that is continued.
