Senior Design Manager

Our client are a global company that specialise in the built environment and civil engineering. They have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Design Manager (Marine & Structure) based in Immingham, Lincolnshire.

This role is specialising in marine and structure experience.

Role:

The successful candidate will safely design, manage and co-ordinate the entire design for the project, meeting project requirements.

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Develop and implement a Design Management Plan and BIM Execution Plan, including a SMART schedule of deliverables
• Be responsible for developing the contractor’s procedure for the control of Temporary Works and for ensuring it is implemented on site in accordance with regulations
• To collaboratively work through the Alliance and with tier two contractors ensuring the delivery of requirements
• Develop and achieve a safe, buildable and operational asset that is compliant with standards and meets the project requirements
• Ensure all maintenance and inspection of the Temporary Works is carried out

Essential Requirements:

• Strong working knowledge of relevant legislation, including Health & Safety Work Act 1974
• Experience with large teams of employees and stakeholders in a professional manner
• Educated to a degree level or equivalent in a numerate discipline, such as engineering
• CSCS card

Desirable:

• Membership of a relevant professional body
• Working experience managing a team in a multi-discipline environment
