Senior Planner

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a permanent Senior Planner in Bermondsey or St Albans. Our client are a international construction and engineering company

Role:

The successful candidate will support the management team with the planning and programming of the design, procurement and construction activities.

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Lead in the preparation of a construction target programme, highlighting areas of improvement against the contract programme
• Be responsible for developing a 4D graphical model where required and 2D phasing plans
• Maintain electronic files and administration of planning and programme documents
• Assist in the production of project prelim books
• Report to the Regional Planner regarding the current programme position on all projects
• Conduct regular review programmes with Regional Planner

Essential Requirements:

• Relevant degree or diploma
• Advanced Primavera P6 Training managing costs and resources
• Extensive knowledge of UK and EU legal framework, in particular contract management
• Working experience managing planning teams

Desirable:

• Membership of relevant professional body
• Understanding JCT and NEC forms of contract
