My client is an award winning International Multidisciplinary Engineering Consultancy that has been established for over 40 years, they are one of the most sort after and highly respected businesses in the industry. With strong client relationships that work on exceptionally varied and diverse projects, and they are looking to appoint a Principal Mechanical Engineer in their Critical Systems team.
Important – A Chartered Engineer with strong experience within the Mission Critical / Data Centre market.
This Principal Mechanical Engineer position has been created as a result of a successful growth and development within the business, more specifically the Mission Critical / Data Centre Division in London.
They require an astute Principal Mechanical Engineer to join them that can manage engineering designs in line with client brief and / or project requirements. You will be expected to contribute to the preparation of submissions & fee bids, plus build and maintain strong client relationships.
Being the Principal Mechanical Engineer you will be the Associate Director / Partners right hand person and provide full support with;
The team management and reporting
Develop the Mission Critical & Technical offering
Leading the design team
Managing a client base
Financial budgeting and forecasting
As the Principal Mechanical Engineer you will need to control every aspect of the project and design process, be client facing, confident attending client meetings, prepare and deliver financial reports and projections. You will ensure that they are all completed successfully and communicated effectively to the management team and the clients.
