My client has established itself as a leader in the Transmission & Distribution sector across the UK, securing numerous prestigious projects over the past decade. With a commitment to delivering top-notch engineering designs, they are seeking a skilled CAD Technician to join their busy team.
Your Role:
As a CAD Technician, you will report directly to the Office Lead and play a pivotal role in drafting using AutoCAD, Microstation, and other design tools.
Key Responsibilities:
– Provide exceptional CAD services
– Collaborate closely with our multi-disciplinary CAD team to ensure project delivery
– Facilitate knowledge exchange among technicians and engineers
– Uphold my clients commitment to Perfect Delivery throughout all projects
What My Client Are Looking For:
– CAD experience, preferably in high voltage transmission and distribution, underground cables, OHLs, substations, and utilities & infrastructure sectors
– Minimum HNC/D level qualification. Ideally, EngTech MIET or MICE status, or actively working towards it
– Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D and 3D software, with a reasonable level of proficiency in Civils 3D software
