I am looking for a Head of Design with a good rail civils background, to deliver civil engineering technical excellence for civil engineering works associated with station redevelopment in London.

Role

You will have previous experience working in a similar role within programmes from a civils aspect. This role would suit a design professional with station build experience.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Lead the design to deliver the civil engineering on allocated company contracts.
• Manage design for depot and site works
• Attend client meetings as required.
• Ensure integration works.
• Manage design process.

Essential requirements:

• Design Lead / Head of Design level experience in rail civils station works
• Have five years relevant experience.
• Proven experience of managing design works.

Desirable:

• Although not essential it would also be advantageous if you have a degree in a relevant discipline such as Civil Engineering.
