Job title: Senior Landscape Architect
Location: Coleshill, Newport, Bristol, Edinburgh, Newcastle, Saltaire
Salary: £35,000 to £50,000

My client is a dynamic, environmentally conscious, and growing company offering diverse opportunities for Landscape Architects in the environmental sector. We’re independent, putting sustainability at the core of our services.
Our Landscape and Arboriculture team is expanding and looking for experienced, enthusiastic Landscape Architects.

Your Role
- Lead on a variety of projects of different types and scales.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create innovative solutions.
- Focus on water environments, including coastal and fluvial erosion management, sustainable drainage, and river restoration.
- Work on diverse projects for local authorities, third-sector organisations, and private clients.
- Involvement in green/blue infrastructure, urban regeneration, residential development, renewable energy, and transport infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Site survey and analysis, appraisal, and assessment.
- Produce reports, drawings, and technical documents.
- Lead landscape planning, design, and management across various scales.
- Plan, undertake, and review work.
- Manage and develop client relationships.
- Prepare tenders.
- Supervise early career staff and manage landscape design teams.
Who We’re Looking For
- Self-motivated and versatile-able to contribute across landscape planning, design, and management.
- Effective communicator-orally, in writing, and graphically.
- Driven and capable of leading projects from start to finish.
- Collaborative-able to work with clients and teams to develop project briefs.
- Team leader-able to guide small teams, plan approaches, and ensure project delivery.
Qualifications
- Landscape Institute accredited degree (Bachelor’s, Postgraduate Diploma, or Master’s).
- Chartered Member of the Landscape Institute (CMLI) or on the Pathway to Chartership (P2C).
- Full UK driving licence.
Essential Skills
- Proven experience in landscape design/implementation and/or landscape planning and EIA.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Confidence in reviewing work to ensure standards are met.
- Supervision and mentorship skills for early career staff.
