An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Safe Work Manager. The Safe Work Manager will report directly to the Rail Safety Critical Manager and will under the new 019 standard.
The successful candidate will play a critical role being appointed as Worksite Person in Charge by the project when worksites are assessed and deemed to be complex.
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Monitor PPS and identify complex worksites
- Liaise with the client and other principle contractors during the planning stage
- To comply with, undertake and promote all relevant Environment, Health & Safety measures, responsibilities, and activities
- Compose shift reports to a standard that ensures compliance with audits
- Write and deliver 019 briefings as required
- A valid PTS (Personal Track Safety) certificate
- Knowledge of HSE requirements
- ALO Responsible Manager
- Manual Handling
- Emergency First Aid
- Critical thinking and decision making
