Overview

We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Highway Engineer to work on an Outside IR35 basis for a well-established consultancy. With a flexible working environment, our client is looking to add two engineers to their office to help deliver major highway projects.

Requirements

• BEng/MEng Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Expert recent knowledge of Highway Design.
• A detailed understanding of MCHW & DMRB.
• Ideally strong experience on National Highway schemes
• Experience and understanding of software like Civils 3D and AutoCAD.
• Experience in producing drawings, reports, and specifications.
• Good prior experience of large/major UK highway projects

Responsibilities

• Oversee design teams in the completion of highway design projects.
• Assist the Associate Engineer in managing the Graduate/Design Engineers
• Manage the design process.
• Serve as a leading highways expert for design tasks and packages.

Duration

• 6 months initially, with a view to extending further.
