Senior Planner

Join a tier 1 principal contractor as a senior planner supporting the delivery of superstructure and fit out projects in Birmingham. For the role you must have expert knowledge of P6, Earn value management and integrated project planning on infrastructure projects.

Responsibility

• Produce, develop and maintain level three programmes to support the main contract purposes.
• Develop an integrated Design, Procurement and Construction Schedule.
• Lead on the schedule review of contractor claims or disputes.
• Support the Project Manager, Planning Lead & Controls Manager regarding all issues relating to schedule
• Resource Loading and input of data to produce earned value reports for packages of the works.

Technical Experience

• Expert knowledge of construction techniques methods and durations
• Very strong understanding of techniques for project planning control and other facets of project control
• Expert knowledge of Primavera and similar planning software
• Strong knowledge of integrated project planning
• Expert knowledge of EVA techniques
