Senior/Principal Bridge Engineer

Advance TRS are working with a major engineering consultant based in Birmingham who are looking to add a Senior/Principal Bridge Engineer to join their expanding team. This consultant is also looking to add staff to several other UK offices too. Please get in touch if you are open to hearing about roles based elsewhere in the UK.

Responsibilities

• You will be heavily involved in the technical design and assessment guidance of highway and rail structures (primarily bridges)
• Act as a technical lead on rail and/or road bridges and associated structures schemes through to detailed design for some of our most challenging projects
• Act as the Project Manager on multiple projects
• Support the Associate Director in the management, supervision and training of less experienced engineers

Key Requirements

• MEng/BEng in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering
• Must have extensive experience in bridge design
• Working knowledge of structural analysis software.
• Experience of Eurocodes, British Standards, DMRB and Network rail standards.
• Ideally be a Chartered Engineer (MICE or IStructE)
