My client is a leading civil engineering and construction company, delivering design-and-build projects with clients in the water sector and beyond, across the UK. There is a current availability for Site Engineers to join the team.

The Senior Site Engineer and Site Engineers will be critical to the successful delivery of the Strategic Pipeline Alliance, reporting to the Site Agent. You’ll be managing the day-to-day quality assurance, including surveying, setting out duties, quality checks and approvals. You’ll also be assisting the site management teams with all aspects of health, safety and environmental management.

Key Responsibilities:

* Oversee quality control and assist in the implementation of SPA’s safety, health, environmental and quality performance.

* Assist the QS with quantities and project progress

* Support the Site Agent with day to day running of the site.

* Act under the Site Manager as a supervisor on site for specialist subcontractors.

* Transfer digital and paper data/drawings onto site, and back into digital models enabling accurate and auditable record keeping

Candidate Specification:

They are looking for an engaged and passionate person who has experience of being part of large-scale infrastructure programmes of works, ideally within the water sector, who can take a lead in ensuring our product is right first time. You should have a proactive approach to resolving unexpected technical difficulties, with a can-do attitude and enthusiasm to innovate and get the job done.

* Experienced Site Manager, able to lead by example

* Civil Engineering background in the Construction / Water Industry

* Experience of working in Design & Build

* Thorough understanding of safety, environmental and quality management processes

* Thorough understanding of commercial, contractual and procurement processes

* NEC / JCT awareness

* Good knowledge of temporary works

* Experience of both incident and near miss reporting

* SMSTS / CSCS

* Full clean UK driving licence
