Mason is a Recruitment Resourcer, specialising in permanent and contract recruitment across the UK water sector. Working across a range of disciplines, he supports the recruitment of Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Process Design Engineers.
With a background in HR, Mason has always enjoyed working with people. His experience has helped shape his people-focused approach to recruitment, where communication, relationship building and understanding individual needs are at the heart of how he works.
For Mason, good recruitment starts with getting to know the person behind the CV. He takes the time to understand a candidate’s skills, career goals and motivations, whether they are looking for progression, a better work-life balance, increased earnings or simply a new challenge. His aim is to connect people with opportunities that genuinely align with what they want from their career.
Mason particularly enjoys the relationship-building side of recruitment. No two conversations are the same, and the opportunity to meet new people, find solutions and continually learn about the water industry keeps him motivated.
Outside of work, Mason enjoys spending time with friends and family or getting outside for a walk, particularly around Portsmouth’s historic dockyard.
