Project Engineer – Rail Telecoms, SCADA & Control Systems

Hybrid Working / Remote Working
£500 – £600 per day (Inside IR35)
Long-Term Contract | 3-Year Programme

We are seeking a Railway experienced Project Engineer to support a Telecoms, SCADA and Control Systems Renewal Programme in the Kent area.

Joining at the start of a three-year programme, you will play a key role in the delivery and upgrade of critical control systems across railway systems telecoms connectivity, signalling interfaces, HVAC controls and monitoring systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage engineering activities throughout the project life-cycle.
• Review and coordinate designs, technical documentation and engineering assurance.
• Ensure compliance with relevant standards and project requirements.
• Manage technical interfaces across multiple disciplines and stakeholders.
• Support testing, commissioning and handover activities.

Essential Experience

• Proven experience delivering railway SCADA and/or control systems projects.
• Strong understanding of railway telecoms, signalling, HVAC and operational technology environments.
• Experience working within infrastructure and rail sectors.
• Excellent stakeholder management and technical coordination skills.
