Location: London / Site & Home-Based
Salary: Circa £450 per day

About the Role:

Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to take ownership of projects across the UK Water sector. The role will cover the full project lifecycle, from internal handover through design coordination, procurement, construction, commissioning, client acceptance and final close out.

You will work closely with Tier 1 contractors, UK water companies, subcontractors and internal engineering teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, commercially and to programme.

Key Responsibilities:

• Take ownership of projects from handover through to completion and close out.
• Manage project programmes, budgets, risks and commercial performance.
• Coordinate design, procurement, construction, installation and commissioning activities.
• Manage subcontractors, suppliers and project resources.
• Coordinate project engineers and technical teams to ensure deliverables are produced on time.
• Manage project documentation, RFIs, approvals, drawings and handover records.
• Lead project meetings and maintain effective client and stakeholder relationships.
• Monitor project costs, forecasts, variations, invoicing and margin.
• Ensure health, safety, environmental and quality requirements are met.
• Provide regular project reporting to senior management.

About You:

• Proven Project Management experience within the UK Water industry.
• Experience delivering projects for Tier 1 contractors and/or UK water companies.
• Experience managing the full project lifecycle from design through to commissioning and close out.
• Strong commercial and financial management experience.
• Experience managing subcontractors, suppliers and multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong understanding of project planning, risk management and reporting.
• Excellent client and stakeholder management skills.
• Relevant engineering, construction or project management qualification, or equivalent experience.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Experience with ProjectWise or similar document control systems would be advantageous.
