Major Infrastructure

Location: London | Tunnels & Routeway

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Quality Engineer to join a major infrastructure project in London.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on a large-scale civil engineering project, supporting the delivery team and ensuring works are completed in line with quality standards, specifications and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out independent site inspections and quality surveillances.

• Ensuring works comply with drawings, specifications and project requirements.

• Managing and reporting non-conformances.

• Reviewing Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and quality documentation.

• Liaising with the client, delivery teams and subcontractors on quality matters.

• Ensuring inspections, testing and supporting documentation are completed on time.

• Supporting the Quality Manager and providing guidance to site teams.

• Promoting a right-first-time approach to quality.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a Quality Engineer or similar quality-related role.

• Experience working on major infrastructure or civil engineering projects.

• Good knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 quality management systems.

• Experience managing quality on construction projects.

• Relevant CSCS card.

• Competent with Microsoft Word and Excel.

• Previous site-based quality training.
