Senior Electrical Engineer – Water (Contract)

Remote / UK Based
£45-£50 per hour
Inside or Outside IR35 – subject to assessment
Long-term contract

We are supporting a leading engineering consultancy that is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to support a growing portfolio of wastewater projects across the UK water sector.

The Role

• Electrical design across wastewater treatment and non-infrastructure projects
• Producing calculations, specifications and technical reports
• Developing LV electrical designs, single line diagrams and control philosophies
• Supporting design reviews, HAZOPs and technical/client meetings
• Working closely with mechanical, process and civil engineering disciplines
• Supporting MEICA integration throughout the project lifecycle

About You

• Previous electrical design experience within the UK water sector
• Experience working on wastewater/non-infrastructure projects
• Strong knowledge of LV systems, motors and instrumentation
• Experience producing electrical design documentation to industry standards
• Previous exposure to AMP frameworks
• Ability to work effectively within a consultancy and multidisciplinary environment
• UK-based with flexibility to attend occasional site/client meetings

Contract Details

• Rate: £45-£50 per hour, dependent on experience
• IR35: Inside or Outside IR35, subject to assessment
• Location: Remote working with occasional site/client travel
• Duration: Long-term contract opportunity
• Start: Immediate or short notice preferred
