About the Role:
Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Technical Director to lead and grow their hydroecology service offering. This is a strategic leadership role, providing the opportunity to shape technical direction, influence industry standards, and deliver innovative solutions to complex environmental challenges.
Hydroecology plays a critical role in climate resilience and ecosystem protection, and this position offers a platform to drive meaningful, measurable impact across the sector.

Key Responsibilities:
Define and implement technical strategy for hydroecology and water management
Provide thought leadership through publications, conferences and industry engagement
Lead innovation and research initiatives, collaborating with academic and industry partners
Champion technical excellence, quality assurance and continuous improvement
Mentor and develop technical teams, supporting capability growth
Lead strategic project delivery and act as Project Director on key commissions
Build and maintain strong client and partner relationships
Identify and develop new business opportunities, partnerships and frameworks

Eligibility:
Degree (BSc and/or MSc) in ecology, environmental science or related discipline
Chartered Environmentalist (or equivalent professional accreditation)
Right to work in the UK
