Katie Walker is Head of Compliance & Administration at Advance TRS, leading the team responsible for ensuring every contractor, client and placement is supported by robust compliance processes and exceptional service. Since joining the business in 2019, Katie has played a key role in developing and strengthening the company’s compliance function, helping Advance TRS maintain the high standards expected across the infrastructure sector.
Working closely with clients, contractors and internal teams, Katie oversees every stage of the compliance and onboarding process, including right-to-work checks, industry competencies, Sentinel sponsorship, medicals, drug and alcohol testing, documentation management and ongoing contractor support. Her team ensures contractors are fully compliant and ready to work safely and efficiently from day one.
Known for her organisation, attention to detail and approachable leadership style, Katie is passionate about creating efficient processes while providing a positive experience for both clients and contractors. She believes strong compliance is about more than meeting regulations – it’s about protecting people, building trust and supporting successful project delivery.
Outside of work, Katie enjoys spending time in the gym, where she’s a dedicated weightlifter, as well as making the most of time with family and friends and exploring new places.
