Sean Brown is a Principal Recruitment Consultant at Advance TRS, specialising in Civil and Structural Engineering across the buildings, transport and infrastructure sectors. He partners with engineering consultancies and contractor design teams, supporting both permanent and contract recruitment.
He recruits across a range of positions, including Structural Engineers, Civil Engineers, Geotechnical Engineers, Bridge and Tunnel Engineers, as well as CAD and BIM professionals. Whilst he has supported major projects such as Crossrail and HS2, his primary focus is on helping clients fill key skill gaps within their teams to support their wider portfolio of work.
With around 15 years of experience in the sector, Sean has developed a strong understanding of the market and how it continues to evolve. This has enabled him to build a well-established network and adapt to the changing needs of both clients and candidates over time.
Known for his approachable and consultative style, Sean gives clients and candidates the space to make well‑informed decisions without unnecessary pressure. He values building long-term relationships and takes particular pride in understanding what candidates want from their careers, helping them secure roles that align with their interests and support their professional progression.
Outside of work, Sean spends most of his time with his wife and three boys. He is a keen football fan and coaches his son’s team, and when he can, he enjoys getting out for a round of golf.
