Coffee, Cake, Community and Charity: Our Macmillan Coffee Morning

On Monday 28 September, colleagues came together for our Macmillan Coffee Morning, raising £130 for Macmillan Cancer Support.
The table was soon filled with an impressive mix of homemade sweet and savoury treats, giving everyone a good excuse to step away from their desks, catch up with colleagues and raise money for an important cause.
What was on the table?
There was plenty to choose from, with lots of our team getting involved:
- Ella made sausage rolls and banana bread.
- Fiona made banana muffins.
- Our resident office baker, Jess Dade, treated everyone to coffee cake and custard cream blondies.
- Sean Bezer-Logue made cinnamon gingerbread and white chocolate muffins.
- Sam Jennings and his son baked a classic Victoria sandwich.
- Mandy Phipps recreated a school dinner favourite with a butterscotch tart.
- James Brooks brought cupcakes.
- Jo-anna made carrot cake.
- A mystery baker contributed a batch of brownies.
- Harry Harding made some fudge.
A huge thank you to everyone who baked, bought a treat or made a donation. It was great to see so many people getting involved and helping us raise £130 for Macmillan Cancer Support.

Our Macmillan Coffee Morning is one of the many ways our team gets involved in fundraising throughout the year.
Over the years, Advance TRS has now raised £200,000 for a range of charities, thanks to the support of our colleagues, clients and wider community. From coffee mornings and charity challenges to our annual golf day, every event and every donation has helped us reach this milestone.
