Providing High Quality Candidates to the Water & Environment Sector

Our expertise encompasses a wide array of key disciplines and skill sets crucial in addressing the multifaceted workforce challenges being experienced by clients and candidates across the sector. Our consultants bring specialist market insight and have extensive experience supporting major water frameworks, consultancies and contractors since AMP3.

The ambitious combined £104bn spend for the current AMP8 cycle (2025-2030) is the largest capital delivery investment ever seen in the water sector and will create even more demand for skilled engineers to ensure OFWAT‘s objectives are met. AMP8 has a specific focus on sustainability, resilience and digital innovation and intends to cut storm overflow spills by 45%, invest £12bn in overflow infrastructure, allocate £6bn to reduce nutrient pollution and track 23 performance metrics covering emissions, biodiversity and pollution. It has been noted that an additional 100,000 people will be required to deliver against this target.

In line with our work across the water industry, we also specialise in the environment sector, predominantly supporting major programmes led by the Environment Agency, including the Next Generation Supplier Arrangements (NGSA) and Collaborative Delivery Framework (CDF). We are also engaged with frameworks and partner organisations associated with Natural Resources Wales and the Scottish Environment Protection Agency.

As the demand for resilient infrastructure and climate adaptation continues to grow, so too does the need for high-quality talent. We play a key role in delivering schemes across flood risk management, coastal defence, environmental protection, and climate resilience, connecting skilled professionals with organisations driving critical environmental projects, helping to protect communities and safeguard the long-term health of natural ecosystems across the UK.

Our expertise spans a wide range of positions essential to the water & environment sector, including:

  • Planning and Commercial
  • Environmental Science disciplines, including: hydrology, hydrogeology, acoustics & air quality, ecology and EIA
  • Design Engineering: civil, mechanical, electrical (EICA) and process
  • Hydraulic Modelling, Flood Risk, River and Coastal Engineering
  • Digital Design, including CAD and BIM
  • Project Engineering, Programme and Project Management
  • Construction Site Installation, Supervision & Site Management
  • Commissioning

PROUD TO SUPPORT WATER & ENVIRONMENT PROGRAMMES ACROSS THE UK

We support organisations that deliver regulated and non-regulated programmes, including investment aligned to OFWAT’s AMP cycles and delivery frameworks commissioned by the Environment Agency. Our reputation is built on a consultative approach, in-depth market knowledge and the ability to mobilise skilled talent quickly to suit our clients’ requirements.
