This time around, Advance TRS adapted to the changing times and went virtual for their Half Year Company Conference.
The team has been working remotely during most of the pandemic, however, we didn’t want to let that stop us from having a catch-up and an update on how everything is going. So we asked everyone to join a Zoom session on Friday afternoon, drinks in hand.
We had lots of speakers, with members of each of our departments giving updates on what the last few months have been like, what their goals are going forward and what they have been up to during lockdown. We laughed and we cheered for our colleagues who, despite restrictions and unprecedented circumstances, really outdid themselves.
Since the start of the year we also welcomed seven new team members, who have all settled in incredibly well and have quickly become an integral part of the Advance TRS family.
We looked back on weekly challenges set by our Founder and Group MD Andy Ridout during the first lockdown. From writing the best poem, to the best portrait of a colleague and best fancy dress. He made sure he kept us entertained and occupied.
Looking at teams’ achievements and how hard everyone has worked showed that the Advance TRS brand is as strong as ever and is already recovering from the impacts of the COVID pandemic.
The conference was rounded up by celebrating our amazing colleagues who managed to break records during a time that has been so uncertain. It really showed us what we can achieve with hard work and dedication and has given us the motivation to keep pushing on, whatever the next few months may bring.
