An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Quantity Surveyor to join a growing infrastructure commercial team based in Exeter.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking team where you’ll gain exposure to a wide range of infrastructure projects, including Highways, Rail, Water, Utilities and Major Infrastructure programmes.
With a strong pipeline of projects and continued investment across the South West, you’ll have the opportunity to build your commercial experience, develop your skills and progress your career while working alongside experienced industry professionals.

What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll play an important role in supporting the successful commercial delivery of infrastructure projects, with responsibilities including:
- Supporting the commercial management of infrastructure projects
- Preparing cost plans, estimates and forecasts
- Administering NEC3 and NEC4 contracts
- Managing change, compensation events and commercial risk
- Supporting procurement and tendering activities
- Preparing valuations, cost reports and financial forecasts
- Working closely with project teams, clients and key stakeholders
- Contributing to the successful commercial delivery of major infrastructure programmes
What We’re Looking For
We’re keen to hear from Quantity Surveyors who are looking to develop their careers within the infrastructure sector.
You’ll ideally have:
- Experience working as a Quantity Surveyor within infrastructure or a related sector
- Experience working with NEC3 or NEC4 contracts
- Good commercial and contractual understanding
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- The ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a wider team
- A proactive approach and genuine interest in developing your career
Travel to client and project sites may be required from time to time.
