Project Manager

Manchester | Full Time

Salary: £48,000 – £60,000

The Role

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of civil engineering and infrastructure projects across Manchester.

You will be responsible for managing projects from start to finish, ensuring they are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full delivery of civil engineering projects.

• Oversee health, safety, quality and environmental requirements.

• Manage project programmes, budgets, resources and subcontractors.

• Liaise with clients, consultants, suppliers and internal teams.

• Manage variations, technical queries and project documentation.

• Lead and motivate project teams.

• Monitor progress, quality and commercial performance.

• Ensure projects are delivered in line with drawings, specifications and contractual requirements.

• Maintain accurate project records and ensure effective project handover.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in project or site management.

• Proven experience within civil engineering or construction.

• CSCS and SMSTS.

• First Aid qualification.

• HNC, HND or Degree in a construction-related discipline.

• Good understanding of NEC contracts and CDM regulations.

• Full UK driving licence.

• Strong leadership, communication, planning and organisational skills.

• Good commercial awareness and problem-solving ability.
