Sam Riley is a Senior Recruitment Consultant at Advance TRS, specialising in the recruitment of Systems Engineering, System Safety, Requirements Engineering, Cyber Security and Software Engineering professionals across the Rail & Infrastructure sector.
Working across both permanent and contract recruitment, Sam supports candidates in finding opportunities that match their skills, ambitions and long-term career goals, while helping consultancies, contractors and infrastructure organisations secure the specialist engineering talent they need to deliver critical projects. He has developed particular expertise across major programmes including CP6 Eastern Region, the Cambridge Signalling programme, F2P and the Clyde Nuclear project, giving him a strong understanding of the technical markets he recruits within.

Outside of work, Sam enjoys playing and watching football and is always keen to take on a challenge. Earlier this year, he successfully climbed Mount Kilimanjaro in support of Railway Children, raising £7,000 for the charity. It was a physically and mentally demanding experience that pushed him well outside his comfort zone, teaching him resilience, determination and the importance of persevering through difficult challenges.
