Commercial Manager (Design)

Salary: £90,000 – £100,000 + Excellent Package

Are you an experienced Commercial Manager with a background in Design & Build and managing consultant packages?

We’re recruiting for a specialist Commercial Manager to support the design phase of a major infrastructure programme in London.

The Role

This position focuses on the commercial management of design packages, working closely with design managers, consultants and project teams to manage commercial performance throughout design development.

Responsibilities

• Commercial management of consultant and design contracts.
• Managing NEC contract administration.
• Supporting Design & Build delivery.
• Managing package costs, change and forecasting.
• Assessing commercial impacts of design development.
• Managing technical change and associated commercial risk.
• Supporting procurement of professional services.
• Working closely with operational and design teams.

About You

You’ll have experience with:

• Design & Build projects.
• Consultant package management.
• Design development.
• Technical change management.
• NEC contracts.
• Major infrastructure or civil engineering projects.

Experience working within complex infrastructure environments is highly desirable.
