Job title: Project Engineer – Building & Civils

Day Rate: Dependant on experience

Role

Your role will be to implement the client’s systems and procedures to maintain a cost effective, high quality, safe and environmentally responsible approach to design, construction, commissioning, and other technical activities on relevant projects, compliant with all relevant legislation. Liaise with regulators and others as appropriate.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Monitor Design and specialist consultants and contractors
• Provide project management advice in respect of all construction activities
• Manage all engineering activities so that the schemes meet programme managements
• Maintain the use of relevant techniques and procedures

Essential requirements:

• Successful relevant experienced in engineering disciplines, ideally with construction
• Technical qualifications to HNC/HND or equivalent GNVQ in relevant engineering discipline
• Demonstratable experience of effective team working
• CDM, risk assessment, engineering management competency
