NEC Project Manager – Highways

Our client, a large engineering consultancy is looking for an NEC Project Manager to join their team and be based across the Gloucester area. The role is a contract position (inside IR35), but there is potential for a permanent position.

Responsibilities

• NEC4 ECC Project Manager duties for administration of multidisciplinary highway projects including
  • Assess & review programmes
  • Assessing & implementing Compensation Events
• Management of H&S and risks associated with project implementation

• Working as part of a collaborative team with the Contractor / Client / Public
• Presenting to clients and key stakeholders
  

Requirements

• Extensive experience within the highways construction market – preferably within a local authority setting
• Ideally BEng/MEng or MSc degree in civil engineering or equivalent
• Experience of working with major Contractors
• Prior experience working as an NEC Project Manager
• Awareness and specialist knowledge to ensure safety in highway environments and experience of CDM Regulations
• A valid UK driving license
• Experience with NEC forms of contract

Duration

• 6 months initially

Pay Rate

• £50-55ph (Umbrella rate)
