Senior Civil Engineer

I am delighted to be recruiting on behalf of my client for a permanent Senior Civil Engineer, based in Glasgow.

Job Description:
What you’ll be doing:
Preparation of technical outputs to the highest standards in accordance with the companies’
quality management system.

Resolving technical civil engineering issues.
Help to develop the production of drawings, reports and specifications.
Opportunity to work under mentorship to develop and undertake CRE responsibilities on Rail
projects.

Operate in a multi-disciplinary environment and delivering projects in a Common Data
Environment (CDE).

Undertaking the necessary design (calculations, design, risk assessments, etc.) supported
by other team members including technicians to produce the required design deliverable
outputs.

What we’re looking for:
Experience of working in the UK rail industry with good working knowledge of Network Rail
Grip process / standards and approval processes.
Ability to communicate with a variety of audience using different mediums.
Able to work as part of a multidisciplinary team comprising planners, designers, engineers
and technicians, providing technical guidance to less experienced members of the team.
Able to manage your own time to meet project deadlines and budget targets.
Site experience in the Railway environment.
Ability to manage project teams & project &/or project tasks.
Ability to respond to Project Manager and Client requests and meet challenging deadlines.
