Advance TRS Achieves Cyber Essentials Certification | Strengthening Cyber Security
9th March 2026
Advance TRS is pleased to announce that the business has successfully achieved Cyber Essentials certification, the UK Government-backed scheme designed to help organisations protect themselves against the most common cyber threats.
This achievement marks another important milestone in our commitment to maintaining robust cyber security and protecting the data entrusted to us by our clients, candidates, and colleagues.
Cyber Essentials certification confirms that Advance TRS has implemented key technical controls to safeguard our IT systems and reduce vulnerability to common cyber-attacks such as phishing, malware, and unauthorised access.
The certification covers our UK-managed office networks in Port Solent and Guildford, as well as our Azure UK production networks, ensuring strong security standards across the infrastructure supporting our business operations.

Strengthening Our Cyber Security Framework
Achieving Cyber Essentials builds upon the strong foundations already established within Advance TRS. The business operates an ISO 27001-certified Information Security Management System (ISMS), which provides a structured framework for managing information security risks and continuously improving our processes.
ISO 27001 sets internationally recognised standards for how organisations manage sensitive information, ensuring appropriate policies, governance, and controls are in place.
By maintaining ISO 27001 certification and achieving Cyber Essentials, Advance TRS continues to strengthen its cyber security posture and demonstrate a proactive approach to protecting critical information.
These certifications support our commitment to:
- Protecting client, candidate, and employee data
- Maintaining a secure digital infrastructure across the business
- Managing cyber security risks through structured governance
- Continuously improving our information security practices

Supporting Secure Delivery For Infrastructure Clients
Advance TRS supports major organisations across the rail, water, energy, aviation, and built environment sectors, providing specialist recruitment and consultancy services.
Operating within complex supply chains means our clients expect high standards of governance, compliance, and cybersecurity. Achieving Cyber Essentials provides additional assurance that Advance TRS meets recognised cyber security standards and maintains secure systems for collaboration and data management.
For organisations operating within regulated industries and critical infrastructure, working with partners who prioritise information security is essential.
