About the Role:

Our client is looking for an Ecologist to support a growing programme of rail-related ecological work across South Wales. You’ll take on field surveys, reporting, and ecological clerk of works duties while working closely with wider project teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams.
• Plan, coordinate and carry out ecological field surveys.
• Analyse and interpret survey data.
• Deliver Ecological Clerk of Works support.

What Our Client is Looking For:

• Degree in ecology or a closely related discipline.
• CIEEM membership.
• Strong protected species survey experience.
• Field Identification Skills Certificate (FISC) Level 3+ desirable or equivalent practical field skills.
• Protected species survey licence(s) are desirable but not essential.
• Strong collaborative working approach.
• Full UK/EEC driving licence.
• Open to seasonal ecologists.
