About the Role:
Our client’s Water Services Team is dedicated to supporting and managing how engineering projects interface with, protect, and sustain our water environment. You will work on projects that respond to climate change, ensuring that rivers, coasts, and infrastructure remain resilient and compliant with environmental laws and policy.

Through robust assessment, analysis, and design using the latest technologies, you will deliver creative, practical solutions across a variety of sectors including flood prevention, river/coastal restoration, reservoirs, renewable energy, sustainable drainage, transport infrastructure, and property development.

About Our Client:
Our client is a specialist water services and civil engineering team committed to technical excellence and delivering sustainable outcomes for clients and the water environment. Key Responsibilities:
Conduct flood assessments, drainage, and hydraulic studies across multiple sectors
Design and contribute to flood alleviation and water infrastructure schemes
Utilise software such as FloodModeller, TuFLOW, InfoWorks, and GIS
Support project management, including planning, reporting, and team coordination
Deliver sustainable, resilient solutions for river and coastal projects
Attend site visits and client meetings as required
What Our Client is Looking For:
Senior or Principal level candidates with experience in flood assessment, flood infrastructure concept development, and project management
Highly proficient in FloodModeller, TuFLOW, InfoWorks, and GIS
For Principal level: Chartered status with ICE or CIWEM
For Senior level: Near-ready for Professional Review and committed to achieving chartered status within 12-18 months
Driving licence required for site visits and meetings
Enthusiasm for a broad range of project types, from major infrastructure to river and coastal works
