Highways NEC Project Manager
Manchester (Hybrid)
£65,000-£75,000 (Depending on experience)
Our client is growing their project delivery team in the Northwest and are looking for a Senior Project Manager to support a strong pipeline of major infrastructure work particularly across transport.
You’ll be working on complex, high-value projects alongside a mix of technical specialists, consultants and client teams. The role offers plenty of scope to take ownership, build relationships, and develop your career within a supportive, delivery-focused environment.
What you’ll be doing
- Managing projects from early stages through to delivery
- Supporting clients with cost, programme, risk and overall project performance
- Coordinating multi-disciplinary teams
- Building and maintaining strong client and stakeholder relationships
- Producing regular project reporting (programmes, risks, progress updates)
- Putting in place clear communication structures across teams
- Developing delivery plans and keeping projects on track
- Looking for ways to improve how things are done
What we’re looking for
- Experience in infrastructure or transport projects
- Good understanding of project management principles and delivery
- Experience across pre and post contract stages
- Working knowledge of NEC contracts (formal accreditation helpful, not essential)
- Comfortable managing stakeholders and competing priorities
- Clear, confident communication skills
- Working towards or already chartered (APM, RICS or similar)
