Key tasks and accountabilities:

  • Communicate and manage relationships both internal and external.
  • Work with the Project Team to produce and review project plans / programs.
  • To ensure the project is driven to provide the best value solutions, and delivered on time and within budgets.
  • Produce and maintain all required documentation to develop project O&M
  • Assist with the commissioning planning when required and to distribute with sub-contractors, include commissioning within sub-contractor scopes.
  • Reporting to the M&E Project Manager, a positive, “can do” approach, determined to succeed, the Project Engineer will be able to work on their own initiative and form part of a successful team.

Essential skills and experience required:

  • Knowledge, understanding and experience in the water sector, preferably with clean water
  • Knowledge of membrane systems advantageous
  • Be knowledgeable of the following: pumps/pipe systems, sludge, ozone generation systems, chemical dosing, water/wastewater treatment process equipment
  • Experience of 3D modelling for sub-contractor engagement, take off, review, wtc. (not for model creation or design)
  • Knowledge of Reg 30 / WRAS
  • Experience within similar roles in the water treatment industry would be advantageous

You will be based on site and be the sole document controller on the project. You will be responsible for You will be responsible for setting up and managing the project document control systems.
