Job Summary

To produce accurate and detailed 3D models and 2D drawings.

A BIM modeller works under direction from an Engineer or BIM Coordinator/BIM Manager following the data flow as specified in the BIM methodology. They produce work in accordance with the work flow/ BIM execution plan (BEP), support in the federation model process, and resolve coordination issues identified.

Core Responsibilities

Liaise with discipline BIM leads to ensure optimized clash results using suppression rules based on modelling methods.

Produce model geometry and information in line with the Component Catalogue and outline information within the BIM Execution Plan (BEP).
Ensure all models that are submitted, meet the project requirements set out, and ensure systems are in place for clash avoidance, internal model audits and clash detection before model submission.
