A main contracting organisation, rapidly creating a leading brand name within the residential construction sector have secured a number of refurbishment and new build residential construction contracts with the West London, Thames Valley and Surrey region. Role Purpose:

About the role

As our Senior Hydraulic Modeller / Engineer you will form part of the modelling team which supports the Catchment Asset Managers and the wider business during wastewater network problem characterisation and solution optioneering. Requirements for this Senior Quantity Surveyor position:

  • Previous Senior Quantity Surveyor experience at a main contractor
  • Residential new build experience
  • Demonstratable experience of being commercial lead on projects
  • Able to get involved in Pre-Construction and take projects to completion
  • Ideally QS degree qualified

A new opportunity to join a large multi-functional consultacy, where you will be responsible for the delivery of infrastructure projects within the rail inudstry. You will also be heavily involved in regular communication with clients and other key stakeholders. Due to the nature of the work, you must be able to be very adaptable and enjoy a fast pace environment.

Responsibilities:

* Managing and assisting the delivery of several Railway Risk Assessment Projects simultaneously.
* Assisting the Project Manager in the maintaining programme control over projects to deliver to time, cost and quality in a safe manner and report on programme progress.
* Liaising with clients and stakeholders.
* Working with our various internal teams, to ensure consistent and timely delivery of projects.
* Following our internal process for delivery, quality and budget management.
* Collating, formatting and distributing information to support programme requirements
* Reporting on the progress of projects, and raising any risks or issues to the Senior Management Team

Qualifications/Experience:
Essential:
* Experience within a project management environment
* Experience with managing stakeholders and clients

Preferable
* Experience with Risk Assessments
* Experience in a consultancy environment with good customer relationship and stakeholder management skills.
