Associate Structural Engineer
Building Safety team
Do you have experience of building safety? If so, our client is in the market for an ambitious Associate to join their structural engineering team.
You will lead the structural engineering inspections and reports for building safety cases. Working under the direction of the Associate Director, you will manage the team, liaise with clients and manage projects.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Chartered Structural Engineer (MIStructE or MICE).
- Must have strong experience and knowledge of progressive collapse and robustness.
- Expert knowledge of British standards and Eurocodes
- Prior experience of working in the UK market
- Bachelors degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Proven experience in detailed design and assessments, including the creation of reports, specifications, and schedules, supported by documented evidence.
- Experience of undertaking site visits, making observations and providing advice in writing.
- Experience of mentoring and assisting others.
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Experience in assessing and carrying out remedial work on Large Panel Systems (LPS)
- Prior experience of managing a team
Salary & Package
- £60,000 – £70,000
- Bonus incentive scheme
