My client is a forward-thinking power engineering specialist delivering innovative design, installation, commissioning and maintenance services across major private and public sector energy infrastructure projects. With a growing pipeline of work – from private networks and microgrids to gas/hydrogen generation and grid support battery schemes – they are on a mission to support the UK’s low carbon transition.
Due to continued growth, they are now looking for an experienced CDM & Temporary Works Manager to join their team delivering high voltage electrical power projects (11kV-132kV). This role is critical to ensuring full compliance with the CDM Regulations 2015 and Health & Safety legislation throughout all stages of project delivery.

The Role
As CDM & Temporary Works Manager, you’ll be the go-to expert across a portfolio of projects, supporting both the tendering and delivery phases. You will:
- Ensure compliance with CDM regulations and H&S legislation.
- Act as a key point of contact for CDM matters with both clients and internal teams.
- Develop and review Temporary Works solutions.
- Lead H&S assurance and compliance across delivery teams and sub-contractors.
- Support pre-construction documentation, including Pre-Construction Info and Construction Phase Plans.
- Drive a culture of safety, quality and continuous improvement.
What we’re looking for
- NEBOSH Construction Certificate or Diploma (essential).
- Proven experience in CDM and Temporary Works within electrical or infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of H&S legislation and ISO management systems (9001, 14001, 45001).
- IOSH or APS accreditation (essential).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and lead across teams.
- Full UK driving licence (essential).
