Job Title: Chartered Principal / Senior Engineer
Salary: £50,000 – £65,000 (dependent on experience)
Location: Various (including Bristol, Newport, Newcastle, Warrington)
Type: Permanent, Full Time or Part Time, Hybrid
About the Role:
Are you an experienced Chartered or Incorporated Engineer looking to take the lead on impactful environmental, flood risk, and infrastructure projects? Our client is offering a Principal or Senior Engineer role at one of their UK offices, providing the chance to manage multi-disciplinary projects that champion sustainability and climate resilience.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end delivery of civil and environmental engineering projects.
- Manage project budgets, contracts, risks, and stakeholder communication.
- Provide technical leadership in developing sustainable solutions.
- Coordinate and mentor multi-disciplinary teams and junior engineers.
- Ensure Health & Safety compliance and CDM design responsibilities.
- Drive innovation and implement emerging methodologies and tools.
- Prepare and support winning tender submissions.
- Engage with external stakeholders and represent the company at industry events.
What Our Client is Looking For:
- Degree-qualified in civil, structural, or geotechnical engineering.
- Chartered with ICE, CIWEM, or equivalent professional body.
- Strong experience in environmental, infrastructure, or flood-related projects.
- Excellent communication and project leadership skills.
- Passionate about sustainability and innovation.
- Full UK driving licence required.
- Proficient with IT tools including MS Office.
