We are looking to recruit early career civil and structural engineers to support delivery of a variety of interesting and exciting infrastructure projects in the flood risk management, rail, coastal and development sectors.
The successful candidates will be part of our team delivering a range of projects including design of fluvial and costal defences, maritime projects and bridge design and assessment.
The location for the successful candidates is flexible and our client has design offices located across the UK. They are particularly interested in hearing from people who would like to be based in their Haywards Heath or Peterborough offices to support our work delivering the Environment Agency’s Collaborative Delivery Framework. This framework represents the largest portfolio of Flood and Coastal Erosion Risk Management work in the south of England.

Qualifications and experience:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic team player, who is a strong communicator and passionate and sustainable engineering design.
Applicants should have a relevant degree (or equivalent) in civil or structural engineering.
The right candidate will have an appreciation of engineering processes and an ability to complete engineering design calculations, produce concise reports, specifications and engineering drawings.
Due to the nature of the role and a necessity to visit site, a valid UK driving licence is required.

- A self-starter, who manages own workload and potentially that of a wider team.
- Possess excellent communication skills.
- Able to work within a team and independently.
Desirable skills & experience:
- Prior experience within an engineering design consultancy.
- Experience working in coastal and river settings.
