Salary:
CIRCA £55,000 – £70,000

Saltaire OR Various UK offices (with occasional travel to Saltaire)

About the Role:

This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic Climate and Sustainability team working across disciplines such as decarbonisation, climate change adaptation, natural capital, and social value. You will take a leading role in shaping and delivering our client’s decarbonisation strategy, guiding both public and private sector projects in achieving net zero goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide internal and external technical leadership in decarbonisation and net zero strategy.
  • Lead projects to assess baselines and identify risks/opportunities related to decarbonisation and climate adaptation.
  • Drive business development and manage client relationships.
  • Deliver stakeholder engagement and strategy workshops.
  • Contribute to the development of tools, techniques, and best practices.
  • Represent the team at industry events and conferences.

What Our Client is Looking For:

Essential:

  • Degree in environmental science, carbon management, or a related discipline.
  • Chartered status.
  • Experience in carbon analysis, strategy development, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Strong communication skills around climate mitigation, adaptation, and resilience.
  • Framework development for impact evaluation.

Desirable:

  • Familiarity with the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
  • Understanding of circular economy principles.
  • Membership of IEMA or similar professional body.
