Designers Site Representative/Resident Engineer – Highways

Advance TRS are working with a very well established, large consultancy who would like to appoint a Designers Site Representative/Resident Engineer on to a major highway scheme valued at over £400million.

As a DSR you will be supervising the construction of a major infrastructure project based between Wolverhampton and Birmingham. You will be witnessing construction operations, inspecting the works, raising and closing out non-conformance reports; and establishing and managing systems for receiving and answering technical queries .

To be considered for the role, you will have:

– Prior experience of working as a DSR/Resident Engineer on a major highway scheme

– Strong technical knowledge and ability to understand design and any changes that could be required

– Excellent awareness of H&S on site

– Bachelors or Masters Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction or equivalent.

– IEng or CEng with a relevant professional institution or nearing said status with same is preferable.

– Demonstrable experience in the operation of NEC contracts

– Technical knowledge, ideally Highways, DMRB and Manual for Streets

Contract Length:

12 months

Contract Rate:

£40-45ph
