Job Title: General Foreman
Salary: Up to £55,000 (dependent on experience)
Location: Watford / Guildford / West London (Thames Region)
Type: Permanent or Contract (Inside IR35 considered) | Site-based with some hybrid flexibility
About the Role:
Our client is seeking a proactive and experienced General Foreman to support major infrastructure projects across the Thames Region. Reporting directly to the Site Manager, you’ll be responsible for coordinating and overseeing safe and efficient site operations on either smaller projects or designated sections of larger developments. This is a hands-on leadership role with clear pathways for career growth.

Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and control initial site set-up and implementation of framework systems and procedures
- Work with the Site Manager to enforce safety standards, site security, and compliance
- Ensure all work is carried out according to method statements and risk assessments
- Support continuous improvement and the efficient use of resources
- Maintain a strong focus on HSQE, programme delivery, and budget adherence
What Our Client is Looking For:
- ONC or HNC in a construction discipline
- SMSTS or SSSTS certification
- First Aid certification
- Confined space training preferred
- Prior experience in the water treatment sector (non-infrastructure focus)
