Job Role: Mechanical Project Engineer
Salary: £400 – £450 / day
Location: Hassocks
Our client is seeking a skilled Mechanical Project Engineer for a long-term contract position based in West Sussex. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in delivering non-infrastructure water capital projects and delivering forward-thinking engineering as we come to a close on AMP7 schemes and AMP8 just around the corner!
About the role:
- Developing project objectives by reviewing proposals and plans.
- Collaborating with relevant stakeholders.
- Coordinating logistics, procurement, and on-site activities.
- Preparing project status reports by collecting, analysing, and summarising information and trends, and recommending necessary actions.
- Compile engineering specifications to generate supply chain inquiries.
- Review and create detailed and accurate Risk Assessment and Method Statements (RAMS).
- Conduct site surveys, including taking measurements, photos, and gathering necessary operational information
About you:
- UK Water project experience
- Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent
- Degree or equivalent
- Full UK Drivers Licence
