Mechanical Senior Project Engineer

Contract Opportunity: Senior Project Engineer – Mechanical – Railway background

Currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Senior Project Engineer with a strong background in railway infrastructure to support Mechanical and HVAC systems design assurance for railway depot projects across the Lancashire and Yorkshire regions.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience in Mechanical, HVAC and MEP engineering projects within a UK railway environment

• Expertise in Mechanical and HVAC systems design assurance against railway standards

• Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders

• Work strategically with delivery partners to ensure railway processes, procedures and standards are implemented
• Preferably you will have previous demonstrable experience as an Engineering Manager, Senior Project Engineer, Principal Engineer, DPE or CRE Design in Mechanical/HVAC discipline on high profile railway projects

Contract Details:

• Duration: Initial 6-12 month contract with strong potential for extension

• Rate: CIRCA £600 – £700 per day (Inside IR35 Umbrella PAYE only) Negotiable dependant on experience

• Location: Leeds preferred, other offices include Manchester and York

• Hybrid working – 3 days in office/on site
