Job Title: Power Apps Developer (Rail Industry) – 3 Months Contract (Inside IR35)
Duration: 3 months
IR35 Status: Inside IR35
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Power Apps Developer to join our team for a 3-month contract within the rail industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for extracting raw data, replicating existing workflows and leading both front-end and back-end development to ensure seamless data flow and integration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Extract and analyse raw data relevant to rail operations and workflows.
- Replicate and enhance existing Power Apps solutions previously developed.
- Lead the development of front-end user interfaces, ensuring they are intuitive and aligned with user requirements.
- Design and implement back-end data flows, integration’s, and automation to support end-to-end processes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional Power Apps solutions.
- Ensure data security, compliance, and integrity throughout the development process.
- Provide technical guidance and support to ensure smooth deployment and performance optimisation.
- Document technical specifications, development processes, and user guidance.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience developing Power Apps solutions within a complex environment, preferably in the rail or transportation sectors.
- Strong understanding of data extraction, transformation, and flow processes.
- Hands-on experience replicating and building upon existing Power Apps and workflows.
- Excellent knowledge of Power Automate, Power BI, and related Microsoft Power Platform tools.
- Experience with integrating Power Apps with various data sources, including SQL, SharePoint, and other enterprise systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to lead both front-end and back-end development efforts.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced environment.
Desirable:
- Knowledge of rail industry operations and standards.
- Previous experience working on projects for Network Rail or similar organisations.
