Job Title: Project Manager
Salary: Up to £65,000 (dependent on experience)
Location: Thames Water region (Hybrid working)

About the Role:

Our client is seeking a motivated and experienced Project Manager to join their Delivery Team in the Thames Water region. Reporting directly to the Integrated Programme Lead, this role will oversee the full lifecycle of project delivery – from design through to commissioning and completion – ensuring projects are executed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Champion health, safety, and quality across direct and subcontracted teams
  • Ensure all stages of project delivery align with the company’s Business Management System
  • Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships
  • Oversee planning and execution through Project Execution Plans (PEPs)
  • Lead the preparation and approval of construction plans and method statements
  • Drive commercial success through accurate forecasting and cost control
  • Maintain and deliver quality records, non-conformity reports, and close-out documents
  • Support and develop multi-disciplinary teams
  • Actively participate in industry groups to stay current on innovations
  • Uphold the company’s reputation through professional conduct and continuous improvement
  • Demonstrate a working knowledge of water/wastewater project delivery processes

What Our Client is Looking For:

Essential:

  • Strong experience managing multi-disciplinary projects (preferably water sector)
  • Degree or equivalent in construction, engineering, or commercial discipline
  • APM Project Management Qualification (PMQ) or equivalent
  • Skilled communicator and leader with stakeholder management experience
  • Ability to lead teams and deliver to scope, schedule, and budget
  • Working knowledge of NEC/IChemE contracts
  • CDM and construction health & safety knowledge
  • Governance, risk management, and change control experience

Desirable:

  • Water and wastewater treatment plant experience
  • Chartered status with a recognised institution
  • NEC Project Manager accreditation
