An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Quantity Surveyor to join a growing infrastructure commercial team based in Exeter.

Working across a diverse portfolio of infrastructure projects, you’ll gain exposure to sectors including Highways, Rail, Water, Utilities and Major Infrastructure programmes. With a strong pipeline of work and continued investment in the South West region, this is an excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor looking to develop their career within a supportive and flexible environment.

Projects vary significantly in scale, from nationally recognised programmes through to local authority and regional infrastructure schemes, providing excellent opportunities to broaden your experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting the commercial management of infrastructure projects
  • Cost planning, estimating and forecasting
  • Contract administration under NEC contracts
  • Managing change control and compensation events
  • Supporting procurement and tendering activities
  • Preparing valuations and financial reports
  • Working closely with project teams and clients

Requirements

  • Experience as a Quantity Surveyor within infrastructure projects
  • NEC contract experience (NEC3 or NEC4)
  • Strong commercial awareness and contractual understanding
  • Ability to work independently and proactively
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Various travel requirements could be expected
